Question
Hello, recently I downloaded a program called Bitdownload, a torrent program. However, I decided I no longer wanted it so I went into control panal and from there I went into add/remove programs and removed Bitdownload. The problem is that even though it is no longer in the programs as it was removed, it still appears to exist on my computer, the program appears whenever I restart my computer as if its still there. Everytime I save something new to my computer a little bar at the bottom of the screen "hashes" it which is quite annoying. Also, the computer is much slower and gets IE pop ups periodically. Also, anything I actually want to pop up on AOL hasnt been able to do so latley. I have used spyware removal, virus removal, installed a pop up blocker and even used Nolop which found a program and removed it. But none of this seens to have remedied the problem. I just want the pop ups gone and the program completley deleted from the system, what should I do? Thanks a lot for helping?

Thats a bothersome one.
Heres a link to SpywareInfo Forum. You will have to register, login and ask for help. They will ask you to dnload install and run HijackThis. The upload the logs to them.
BitDownload is usually bundled with other malware programs so you could have more than BitDownLoad on your puter.
