Question
Hey Carolyn!
I need a new anti virus. I had Norton but let it expire as it was slow.
Than I got Avast free edition but I recently had an online scan done with another software which daid I had viruses.
A CiD popup is especially annoying  cant kill.
What should I do-get another free one online,or go out to a store and buy the disc? If I do,which one? Thanks!

Answer
Here's a great Internet security program you can try for free:   http://www.f-secure.com/home_user/support_and_downloads/evaluations/
Most people in the U.S. haven't heard of F-Secure, but worldwide it is the most popular home computer security system.

If it fixes your computer then you can pay when the trial period is up. If this doesn't work, let me know and we can try some more difficult solutions.
