Question
hello
I have an apache server.
i want to know which files were downloaded from my server.
From analysis the access.log file, i can only know which files were accessed, not downloaded.

how can i know that? is there an app out there that can help me?

Thanks

Answer
I'm presuming that by a file being accessed, your log file means the same thing as a web page being accessed? Because any web page or file that is accessed is, by definition, downloaded. If you have any doubt, Webalyzer, a free application, will give you even more details, which should answer any remaining questions.

If you are wondering whether your accessed files are actually being saved, that is a question that can't be answered, because file saving is a system level operation that you can't answer from outside the client's computer.
