Computer Security & Viruses/Basic Security

Question
Hi Carolyn

I use my PC constantly for Banking and Share trading. Don't mind  a bit of surfing on the non-PG sites as well.
Obviously I am concerned about security. I have Ad-Aware SE. Ok, but not good enough by any means. I also do the basic temp' internet file, cookies and history delete routine.
The more I look on the net for info' about Spy-ware programmes, the more contradictions I find. Can you point me in the right direction please? Don't mind spending a couple of bucks to get a decent result.
AMD-2400. Windows XP-2 Home
Any info / advice appreciated.
Kind regards.

Answer
One of the best all around Internet security suites offers a free 30-day trial. Download F-Secure's Complete Internet security: https://store.f-secure.com/cgi-bin/dlreg/ml=EN?ID=FSISTB&desid=TRIAL

Please be careful with those "non-PG" sites. They often are run by criminals, so don't give them anything like your credit card info, Social Security number or bank account info as they might abuse it. If you have to pay any of these places, something like Paypal is safer.
