QUESTION: When I open an IE page, the page is blank white until I hit the refresh button, then the yahoo.com home page comes up!  Any ideas on what to do to get the home page to come up the first time?

I have already run Adaware, Spybot, Windefender, Norton's AV and have Norton's firewall and AV on all the time.

ANSWER: Hi BW,

With Internet Explorer opened, go to Tools, Internet Options, under the General tab click Delete under Browsing History.

QUESTION: I do that regularly and did it again now and it didn't get the home page to come up even after closing and restarting IE.

Any other ideas?

Hi BW,

You mentioned that you ran Spybot, am assuming that you updated it before running the scan, correct? Go to Windows Update and download the available updates.

If that doesn't help, repair or reinstall Internet Explorer.You could download Internet Explorer 7 from:

http://www.microsoft.com/windows/products/winfamily/ie/default.mspx
