I need help with getting rid of a virus. Im not sure what it is but it is there... Whenever i try to boot up my computer it just shuts down as soon as I get it loaded to the windowsw welcome screen. Do you have any idea of how to get rid of the virus without having to get a new hard drive or manually deleting all the information off of it? Also, the system I am running is Microsoft Windows XP. And I am sending this from a laptop computer because my pc cannot turn on.
