Question We carry McAfee security for our home computers. We are thinking about changing to Bellsouth security because it is less costly. Do you have any comparisions on Bellsouth and McAfee? Would you recommend bellsouth security, firewall, antivirus, and spyware?
Answer I absolutely do NOT recommend the Bellsouth product. No reputable evaluators of antivirus programs recommend it and Bellsout has no history of antivirus research. By contrast, McAfee and the other major antivirus companies have their own staffs of brilliant researchers who hunt down and figure out how to kill viruses and other dangerous programs (malware) as fast as possible.
McAfee is one of the best, so If I were you I would keep it.
