Question
Every time I go to Google or Yahoo & just type the word "spyware" in the search box, it closes the whole window down. But it doesn't do that if I type anything else. I ran Avast virus check and Yahoo spyware but they both found nothing. Obviously there is some kind of spyware or virus that doesn't want me to download any anti-spy stuff. Do you have any suggestions? I would really appreciate any advice.

Hi Alex,
When you type in Google and it loads, whats the actual URL?
Sounds like a re-direct thats not working. It could be Trust Cleaner. Are you using IE or Firefox?

You can also register there and dnload the "Hijack This" program. Run it and submit the log results to the Forum.
