Computer Security & Viruses/How do I stop Hipcrime from impersonating me?

Question
Hi:

Some sick individual from Hipcrime is impersonating respectable Usenet-posters, and using their email addresses, usernames and profiles to spam newsgroups with nonsense. Is there a way to stop this? I am getting really upset now!

Hipcrime is annoying me as they are hindering my ability to see my REAL posts. There so many impersonating posts that when I check my username for posts I can’t see my own posts.

Info on Hipcrime can be found here:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hipcrime_(Usenet)

However, the link doesn’t give any guidelines regarding how to defend against Hipcrime.

When I try to check my posts in http://groups.google.com/groups?as_q=&num=10&scoring=d&as_epq=&as_oq=&as_eq=&as_... I end up seeing crap which I never posted and to groups I never posted to.

With worse, one of my email addresses [i.e. glucegen1@gmail.com, the address I use when posting on Usenet] is filled with messages from people who are angry at me because they think I am spamming their newsgroups, when I reality, I am innocent of such.

What Hipcrime is doing is really embarrassing to me as it makes others think I am a troll who simply posts nonsense to get attention or for the purpose of spamming.

Any assistance, understanding, and cooperation on this matter are highly appreciated.

Thanks,

Green

Answer
Hi Green,
I found some interesting history on HipCrime here,
http://www.killfile.org/dungeon/why/hipcrime.html

Are you saying that you are using the UseNet portals
(http://www.usenet.com/)
and a fellow user named HipCrime is abusing users?

Have you contacted the usenet customer service to inform them?

Let me know.
