Expert: Sean Oriyano - 10/10/2007

Question
hi,
my suite is going to run out soon..and with the new internet security suites hitting the market which one do u recommend...it should be really good all-round
i dont like suite hogging too much ram..

is it possible for separate software to work as a unit
because i need
a antivirus
a firewall
a antispy
a antispam
a cookie,ad,java,active X controller
a parental control (if possible)

i have  2.93ghz,512 mb ram,win xp

Answer
HI S,

Personally I don't buy these products as a suite as I can find all of them seperately and do just as well.

For example
AVG Antivirus - www.grisoft.com
Zonealarm Firewall - www.zonealarm.com
Spybot antispyware - www.spybot.com

Antispam, cookies and parental controls are all already available in your browser or email client.

Sean
