hi, im using a SONY Vaio and using Windows XP Home Edition.
I have had a virus for the past 3 weeks and cant get rid of it. It started when i was using AOL Instant Messenger and accidently clicked a virus link sent to me. Ever since then, when i use AIM, it ends up sending the link that was sent to me to every person on my Buddy List and i can't stop it. and all these random files have been infected and new files have been downloaded on my computer but im not quite sure which ones are safe for deleting or not.

what should i do to solve this?

Hi Wesley,

Go to: http://sarc.com/  Scroll down and click on,"Free Online Virus and Security Check"  Write down exactly anything it finds, then return to: http://sarc.com/  and do a search for what was found. Symantec usually has a removal tool and/or directions for removing manually.
