Hi Mike,

No difference, sometimes you can start Windows 98 in Safe Mode by holding down the CTRL key when it starts up otherwise you'll have to tap the "F8" key.

After running a virus scan, make sure you write down the names of the virus(es), not where they are located. Once you have those, either let me know or you can do a search on Google for them.

This happens to be of interest to me as it boggles my mind that people have nothing better to do than to write a virus. Wish these people, the ones who write viruses would put the knowledge to good use instead. My job as a local tech involves removing viruses and/or spyware.
