Question
hello,

I have windows xp pro installed on my laptop. I recently bought symantec's norton internet protection (antivirus + firewall + other stuff). There's all this hype about windows xp service pack2 being the ultimate shield for e-protection: my question is, does the symantec and sp2 work well together?

thank you

Answer
On Aug. 6, Symantec announced that Norton Antivirus is compatible with Service Pack 2: (http://www.symantec.com/techsupp/enterprise/sp2/faq.html

Just in case Symantec is wrong (some computers might be an exception, who knows?) see the Micorsoft site for how to tweak antivirus programs in the event of problems with Service Pack 2:

Hope all goes well!
