Expert: Parthiban.T - 7/13/2008

Question
Hi, I have a problem with installing a pc game.  Whenever I get to 35%
completion this message pops up:
Component: Resources
File Group:  Resources
File: e:/data2.cab
Error:Data Error(Cyclic Redandancy Check).
It won't allow me to instal the game.  If you could tell me what it means and
what I could do about it that would be very helpful.

The Problem is due to the scratch in the disc. Do not worry , some time it can be read using some other drive if you have two drives try in another or copy that dvd from friend drive to pen drive and install to your pc !

I won't say the disc can't be used , but i say can't read by your drive.

My DVD SONY WRITER  too have similar problem so i used to copy the DVD from my brother dvd player drive to my pen drive and i use them to install on my pc !
