Computer action games/Computer can't handle game
Expert: Kenn - 7/6/2006
QuestionI have a question about my Pc and Quake 4. My computer is a Compaq Presario SR1710NX with a sempron 3400 processer and 768 MB ram. The system seems to handle Doom 3 quite well (except for action scenes with a number of creatures) but Quake 4 is another story. The opening scene shows the marines in a jerky, nonlinear motion with small patches of black squares appearing throughout the scene. Is the system requirement so much greater for Quake 4 that I will have to tweak the system (video card and ram) or is something wrong with the game settings?
Thank You:
