I bought Lord of the Rings The return of the king about 6 months ago and just got around to installing it. I no longer have the receipt to return it. I tried to install it and my virus protection (AVG) detected a virus on the disc. Is this possible, and if so, what should I do besides throw it in the garbage? Thank you.

   Thats pretty Odd, but you should try and find out what kind of virus is detected on the disc? and you can try search online what does that virus do, if it's not dangerous, you could just use it. It might not be a virus, it could be a hidden script but the AVG detected it.

For sure, go to http://www.trendmicro.com
Scan your CD on that site.
