Question
I need to know if these trees can cause damage to block cement walls?  My neighbor has a line of these planted about a 1-1 1/1 feet from my block wall.

Answer
Any tree planted 1 1 1/2 feet from a wall will give problems to the wall eventually. As the tree grows the roots may not themselves give a problem but the tree trunk will over time push the wall. Also the tree will have half a root system and will be subject to wind throw. The good news if it falls it will fall away from the wall but may up root the wall as it falls. . I would not think a tree this large will be good this close to the wall.
