Conifers/Italian Cypress Tree

Question
We planted two 7 ft. Italian Cypress trees during the last 2 wks. They look healthy but the tops of both trees droop over about 6 inches.

I have watered often but do not want to overwater.  Could anything else be wrong?

Answer
Conifers when they are growing fast in the spring tend to do this. I would not worry the tree will straighten out as the terminal hardens off. I would not water unless the soil under the tree is dry. Too much water is as bad as too little on conifers.
