Question
I have a skyrocket that's doing great in full sun and I wanted to plant 3 more as a privacy screen next to a block wall on the west side of my property, but am afraid it won't do as well with the shade in the afternoons in that spot (sun from 6 to 2pm in summer and 6 to 12 in winter).  Also, is the skyrocket the same as the blue arrow juniper?

Answer
If planted in full sun, skyrockets will continue to impress you year after year. It is, however, able to handle small amounts of shade throughout the day.

No Blue arrow is different species from skyrocket.
Blue Arrow Juniper, Juniperus squamata 'Blue Arrow'
Skyrocket juniper, Juniperus scopulorum 'Skyrocket'
Blue arrow will not do as well in partial sunlight.

Common names are a problem since the same tree maybe called two different common names always look at the scientific name.
