Question
Hi,i live in northern nj,and have bought a few 3ft alberta spruce trees from jackson and perkins, can you please tell me how to care for these until spring, they will be kept outdoors in a shed, thanks

Answer
The most important thing is to keep the roots from freezing and to water them occasionaly. I would put them in a place that is not heated BUT will not freeze--storage house, garage etc. and water them once a week but just wet the root ball not saturate them with water. Keep a check and do not let the roots dry out and plant as soon as you can.
