Question
I just got my 2007 Conservative calendar and noted a daily reading of some sort. Some from Torah and other from the rest of the Tanack. Can you tell me what these are and where I an find the readings?

Thanks for asking. I'm delighted that you are receiving the calendar, as my wife and I were the creators and editors for the first three years of the calendar.

I haven't seen this year's calendar yet and hence I can't answer if they have added a new feature. I don't recall any daily reading.

I would suggest that a direct call to United Synagogue would resolve the issue immediately: 212-533-7800.
