Isaiah 53 is straightforward description of Jesus Christ. It specifically describes the "suffering servant" as the savior sinful man. The Lord's word in Isaiah 53 is fortelling the story of Jesus Christ.

Steve,
I would like you to consider the text... The suffering servant was singular and could not refer to a group of people. Also, Isaiah was written by one person not two. The theme changes from condemnation to redemption for a purpose and I hope you will be able to see this. The language stays the same all the way through.
10 Yet it was the LORD's will to crush him (singular) and cause him to suffer,
and though the LORD makes his (singular) life a guilt offering,
he (singular) will see his (singular) offspring and prolong his (singular)days,
and the will of the LORD will prosper in his (singular) hand.
Jesus also fulfilled all of what was said in Isaiah 53 which is a messianic prophecy.
