Question INTEREST GROUPS OR NGOs HAVE BECOME SO POWERFUL THAT THEY HAVE STALEMATED THE POLITICAL PROCESS. Agree or disagree?
Answer Disagree. There have been interest groups for as long as their has been a government.
Their success and power does not stalemate the process, rather it corrupts the process. The trillion dollar stimulus bill just passed by Congress was, in large part, pay-offs to special interest groups.
