About Mrs. Priscilla Lyons
Expertise
I have time for you. The Bible has been my guiding light for most of the 56 years of my life. My missionary parents in Brazil kindled a love for God`s Word by their example and their love for truth. The Lord has blessed my husband and me with responsible, independent children who love and serve the Lord and are our best friends. I would enjoy discussing any subject or problem from a Biblical perspective. I know the dangers of government entitlement mentality, the dangers of homosexuality, abortion, euthanasia, embryonic stem cell research, gun restrictions, pacifism and environmental extremism.

Experience
My husband and I are active in local Republican politics and I've served on a Right to Life PAC.

Conservatives - Religion in politics

Expert: Mrs. Priscilla Lyons - 10/5/2007

Question
A lot is discussed about the religious right.  I also understand that the democrats have catholic voters.  I would appreciate any comments about which party, Republican or Democrat, has the most Christians.  Which party is most Christian?

Answer
Thanks for your kind rating.  Priscilla
This is from Christian Coalition of America www.cc.org
"Elections do make a difference! Congressman Todd Akin's "Pledge Protection Act of 2007," H.R. 699, Now Has 107 Co-sponsors/He Needs 111 More to Force Democrat Congress to give Bill a Vote on House Floor Congressman Akin (R-MO) introduced the "Pledge Protection Act," which removes the issue of the Pledge's constitutionality from the jurisdiction of federal courts.  Now that the left-wing Democrats control the House, it is doubtful that Congressman Akin will receive a vote on anything that has to do with God or our nation's motto, etc."
