Question
I am 77 and a resident of Arizona.  I have voted in every Presidential election since I was 21.  My question is :  Do I have to register in order to vote in the coming Presidential election?  If so can I register online?
Thank you
Dan Kelly

Answer
Dear Dan,
If you have moved since you last voted (even across town), you need to go to your County Clerk and show proof of your address change (driver's license, utility bill, etc.).  If you haven't moved since you voted last time, you should be ready to vote in November.  Different states have different standards on registering, so I'm not sure exactly what Arizona allows (online registering), but a call to your County Clerk should help you make sure everything is in order.  You should be able to find that phone number in your phone book under County Government.  Large cities may have an election board or election official.
Hope this helps you find the info to be ready for the November election.  Thanks for writing and write back anytime.

P.S.  I just got this from a friend today and thought you might enjoy it. :-)  A new medal has been created called the "Purple Owie."  It was named in honor of John Kerry, who received 3 purple hearts in 4 months, but never spent a day in the hospital.  It is worn directly over the wound in question, and, after use, it is rolled up and thrown over the nearest fence.

I have time for you. The Bible has been my guiding light for most of the 56 years of my life. My missionary parents in Brazil kindled a love for God`s Word by their example and their love for truth. The Lord has blessed my husband and me with responsible, independent children who love and serve the Lord and are our best friends. I would enjoy discussing any subject or problem from a Biblical perspective. I know the dangers of government entitlement mentality, the dangers of homosexuality, abortion, euthanasia, embryonic stem cell research, gun restrictions, pacifism and environmental extremism.

Experience

My husband and I are active in local Republican politics and I've served on a Right to Life PAC.
