AboutLane Expertise As a Conservative Republican I can answer pretty much any question on any issue that faces America, namely issues that are hot topics in the political ring. From social issues like abortion to broader issues like The War On Terror; I am here to give you straight forward answers to help you better understand America's Political landscape. Being that I am a Republican, however, does not mean that I cannot look at situations objectively. There are areas where I disagree with the Conservative base and times where, because of my open-mindedness, display slightly more Liberal views - depending on the issue, of course.
Experience I run a political blog called The Black & White Report (http://bwreport.blogspot.com/), write a weekly Conservative column (http://nicklane.townhall.com/) and also do extensive research into the area. I closely follow most stories which have political stance and publicize my opinions in a clean, informative way.
Organizations I belong to The Republican Party, or the GOP.

Education/Credentials Although I still attend High School it does not make me any less equipped to answer political questions because I devote much of my time to politics (much more than your average teen)I watch carefully what goes on in the political arena, I ask questions and challenge those in charge. I get to the truth and stay away from ignorant Partisan politics.
Awards and Honors Although not relevent I receive straight A's in school and maintain a constant 4.0 GPA.
Question I need some help understanding globalization, and communitarians in a conservatives point of view.
Answer Hi Trena, great to hear from you! From what I make of your question (and please correct me with a follow up if I'm wrong) you are basically asking my opinion as a conservative on these issues. As far as globalization goes, it is the economic growth of a country and it's relationships with others. This one is a bit outside of my normal area of interest, but if I understand right I would say that a country needs good ties with others as well as good economic growth, however I think we as the U.S. should stop relying on China so much for our products and strengthen our own economy at home. Communitarianism is something I can talk more about. Communitarians like myself believe that the government and citizens themselves should be focused on helping the nation or society as a whole rather than just yourself. Really it is a way of opposing Liberals selfish social point of view where it's every man for himself, or that the government should somehow "provide" everyone with what they need (and charge us tons in tazes!) and promoting the idea of all for one one for all. I hope I was able to answer your question, please let me know if I did not and I'd be happy to try again. Have a great day!
