I'm familiar also with the technical aspect of console gaming systems. I can offer tips and tricks for most any game from finding a secret item to how to get through those stressful boss fights (aka - strategies), as well as recommendations for new and upcoming games. I can't answer questions about how to mod systems (since it voids your warranties anyway) and how to hack video games using your console.

Question Hi,
Can you tell me if the PS3 will play PS2 games? I can't seem to get a consistent answer. I have been told yes and no. I don't know what to believe.

Answer There are three current versions of the PS3, each of them varry in replayability:
The 40gig version-$400 No backwards compatability
THe 60gig version-discontinued 100% backwards compatabile, but it has been discontinued. Check ebay.
The 80gig version-$500 70% backward compatible. Can play most games you can think of.
