Question
hey octane, you were at the top of the list so i chose you for this. it shouldnt be to hard (maybe, depends on you). in Crono Trigger ( i have it for the PSone in Final Fantasy Cronicles, but its pretty much the same as SNES), i know there are 3 possible endings, via black omen, Epoch and the bucket at the end of time. which one would you recomend doing. also the old man at the end of time said the there is "someone close to you" blah blah blah whose in trouble and i should go to him/her quickly, what quest is that cause i cant find it (yes i did do research but got nothing). is it the thing about Lucca's mom? cause i kinda failed that one XD (the password to stop the machine is different than in SNES i think). also, is the item Ayla talks about, the good defence item, at the end of time when shes not in your party, is it just the Ruby Armor? last where is a good place to train. im at 49 and i want 50 but the only place i can still get to death peak. not that good a place to train. where is another good place, Black Omen? Thanks in advance and after words.

Answer
Gday Eric,

There are actually 13 different endings and there is a number of variations on them depending if you do certain things.  Once you complete the game more ending open up to you with a game + option.   Personally I have only seen 3-4 (Because I am not a huge RPG fan.  Once I have played something and beaten it I don't particularly want to go back and do it all again for a different ending.)

The first ending I liked was the looser ending.  Lost to Lavos which is fairly easy to do.  Bam the world was destroyed.  Cool.  (I am a bit of a sucker for negative or everything did not turn out right endings.)  I did the more official ending as well with the Bucket of time and Epoch as mentioned.  The best ending I have read about is where you get to the End of Time and all the characters are the programmers of the game which you can talk to.

I am fairly sure all the endings are on You Tube.  Of course the PS ones have lots of cut scenes mixed into it which the SNES could not have because of it's capability.  But for it's time it was probably one of the first games to have multiple endings...

Your other questions...

The Old man is referring to Lucca's mom!

The item Ayla talks about is the Ruby Armor!

Best place for training is probably the Black Owem!

(See you really did not need my help at all you where right on all three of those questions)
