Question
Hello there, Im looking forward to purchase an Xbox 360, visiting web pages and looking for prices.

I became confused about he Xbox 360 Arcade console ($200) like 250 MB and the Xbox 360 20GB ($250).

Could you explain the main differences please?

Answer
Gday Sophie,

Remember 1024 MB = 1 GB. The X-box Arcade edition DOES NOT come with any Hard Drive it has only internal memory, while the Xbox 360 with a 20 GB hard drive has a fair bit of space on it.  I would recommend not getting an X-box 360 Arcade unit simply because it does not come with a hard drive (Which you probably would spend another $70+ odd getting) The hard drive is used for a lot of downloadable content and quite a few games use it as well as being able to load you games directly to the unit for faster run time, bigger saves ect.

If you aren't going to be downloading anything, multinetworking you X-box, playing on X-box live or hooking up you Xbox up to the Internet.  Just putting the game in and playing then the 360 Arcade would be for you, if you are doing any of the above get a X-box with a hard drive.  (The whole Arcade Edition is a slick way for Microsoft to sell consoles only for people to find out they probably need a hard drive for what they want then they have to spend even more money getting one.)

Hope this helps
