Question
My family got a Wii this Christmas and i am having trouble. I have a tv with no av jacks. I connect my dvd player to the tv and it works fine but when i connect my wii to the dvd player's input av jacks i cant get the wii to work please help

Answer
Gday Elliot,

Check to see if you have definitely plugged the Wii connections to an input Jack to your DVD player and not an output jack.  If you DVD player does not have input jacks you are stuck and you will need a RF converter so you can plug the Wii AV jacks into the RF converter then plug that into the coxal jack on your TV.

If you have input jacks on your DVD player turn the TV to the station where you usually watch your DVD's.

Now turn on your Wii, TV & DVD player.

On you DVD remote you should have a button marked AV or even input.  Press it and it should change from the DVD screen to your AV jacks on the DVD.  (You might have to press it once or twice to cycle from thru DVD play, TV play then AV)  If your DVD remote does not have an AV or Input button see if there is a Setup button on the remote and push it and then thru the menu system to change the DVD input to be AV.  You may have to consult the DVD manual.

Hope this helps
