Hello, I've been trying to play GameCube games on the wii, but I get an error message there's no memory card inserted.
But I do have both a GameCube memory card and a controller for Gamecube inserted.  The error message will not allow a selection of "Continue without saving" it completely stops.

Is this all Nintendo Gamecube games or just one or 2?

If it is all Gamecube games then I would probably say there is a problem with your Gamecube emulation on you Wii.  I would do a few things to try and narrow down what is causing it.

Make sure your Wii if fully patched to Nintendo software patches.  (IE connect it up to the network and have it patch with the latest software) Because if you call nintendo they will probably ask you to do so.

I would also try running the game without the Gamecube memory card inserted.  If All games still freeze up then it is the Wii   (I would contact Nintendos hotline to see if they know what up with it)

If the games work at the continue without saving then it is either the memory card or the memory card slot on your Wii.

From there I would try inserting the memory card in the Second Gamecube slot and repeat the process.  If it freezes again it still could be the memory card or the Memory card slots.

Try replacing the memory card with another one.  If it is still happening it probably the memory card slots, it it works with the new card and not the old one it is the old card at fault.  If you have a friend that has a system try the game and card on theres to see if it does the same thing.  (Pointing to be either the card or game)

If it is just one or two games then it could be the game is scratched or has prints on it.  I would check the games and clean or repair accordingly.  Then and try again.
