Question
QUESTION: Hello! I'm one of the "stucked at the ritual quest with the abbot dude" at Fable 2 ... one of "the Few" (damn you lionhead!!)

I haven't played Falbe 2 still waiting for the bug patch...Lionhead Studios announced.. I searched for more information, lionhead said "expect the patch for mid december..." ok MERRY CHRISTMAS! where's the patch..?

I was hoping you could share any information about the release date of the bug patch, or any news that you are aware of since I can't find anything myself...

Thanks for your time

ANSWER: Gday again Sophie,

Unfortunately the fix all patch from Lionhead that was due Mid December has been delayed until sometime late January.

Which means a new round of complaining Feb 1st by the way Lionhead has been doing goodness knows what for 3 months and still nothing.  People are going to be exceptionally ticked off if the patch to fix a lot of the bugs in this game is in the DLC to Fable 2 that you have to pay for.  (Would you think Microsoft would do that?)

Unfortunately Fable 2 seems to be the most buggy released game in history.  (At least in ET for the Atari 2600 you had all those pits to hover out of.)  You would be best like everyone else and vote with your dollar and never buy another Lionhead game again.  Even though this game is fairly cool if it did not constantly have bugs.

Sorry no joy for you and the half million other waiting for this.

QUESTION: OMG... wait, sorry my main lenguage is not english... are you saying microsoft is thinking about including de fixing patch in the DLC pack that's NOT free??? Meaning that... the only way you'll be able to get the patch is by paying the WHOLE DLC package????

But,  that's not 4 sure right..? I mean, not official? so me and the other half million people still have any hope?

No, really, I'm pissed off now... thank u very much for sharing and could you please write down the site where I can vote?

Answer
Gday Again Sofie,

Sorry for the confusion The Fable II patch and DLC package have NOT been Officially announced that they have been bundled together.  (It was me just thinking out loud.  I really would not put it past them though.  Realisticly it would be nice if it was all bundled together for free to compensate all those people that actually spent money on Fable II which if it was finished would be a really nice game.  At the moment its the pits.  My playing experiance ended being stuck in a wall.)

But it has to make you wonder why has Lionhead have been dragging there feet so much on everything?  Why has there been no Patch to fix the bugs just about everyone has been having?  It's been officially announced a couple of time then never came in all this time.

I though I read somewhere the patch and DLC are with Microsoft awaiting aproval.  But who really knows.  With the DLC it is up to Microsoft to make up the price they charge and not Lionshead.

I hope for you and everyone else frustrated with this problem it will get fixed soon.
