Question
hi I have two Logitech Steering wheels for my Ps2. lately they have not been getting any force feed back (the rumble) All my other controlers have rumble, so it's not my console.
Thanks

Answer
Gday Leo,

Usually I would say if they are working and now they don't now that would usually point to something internally with the Steering wheels being bad.  But having 2 of them both go out at a similar time is alittle odd.

I would check a couple of things first.  Check for dead batteries, most Steering wheels rumble force runs off battery power and not power from the console.  (If if you have the batterys in the wrong way.  Happens to me all the time)  If they have a wall transformer maybe check this.

Check the cable as well to see if it is damaged.  Double check and try it in both ports of your PS2 (Depending if it is USB or PS2 Controller end adjust accordingly)

I would also check the setup options of these games and adjust the setting according to this Joystick (Steering wheel in this case.  Consult the game manual)  There maybe a setting that needs to be changed in the Game setup to adjust for the Steering wheel.  (Maybe as simple as changing it from Controller to Steering wheel in the options).  Maybe your originally did this and have either wiped you memory card settings, deleted the file for the game or just not had the card inserted.  A lot of modern driving games will have this option or a range of them to cope with foot pedals, gears etc. that need to be set and some games I know you can also test this option.

Hope this helps.
