i am wanting to buy a gaming chair as a Christmas present but am unsure as to which are the best. my boyfriend currently has xbox 360 connected up with a hdmi cable, but chairs I've looked at so far say they are not compatible with this. is there any chairs that are or any way of getting round this as i know he will still want it to  be hd. thanks

Gday Laura,

I believe most if not all Gaming chairs designed for the X-box 360 will work.  Almost all Gaming Chairs only really have anything to do with sound and nothing to do with Picture.  Sure the HDMI is hooked up from his X-box to TV but that is not hooked into his Gaming chair.  It has to do with the sound outputted from the TV that plugs into the Gaming chair.  

Because he is using a HDMI Cable you would have to hook the sound output from his TV to his Gaming chair be it from a simple earphone jack on the TV or the AV output from his TV or if he has his TV to a Surround system you would hook it in there.  (Some gaming chairs have wireless connection which does not include the power cord so it makes less wires to drag across the room.)  If he was running a Standard RCA Jack you would just plug in the Red and White outputs from his Gaming system to the chair.

I am sure no matter which on you get he will figure out how to hook it up.  (He might even read the instructions on how to do it)

He should love it regardless what model you get. Hope this helps.
