Question
hi. I have a playstation2 that is hooked up to an LCD HD TV. currently i'm using
the composit inputs for it but i wanted to know if i would see a big difference in
video quality if i switched to component.

Answer
Gday Joel,

Yes and No.  It would really depend on the game you are playing.  As there are a limited number of PS2 Games that support HD and even a more limited range that support the higher 1080i to lower quality HD 480p.

So it is really depending on what game you have.

Hope this helps.
