I'm looking for a broadband plan, but don't know how much usuage i need. I live in Australia. Please help choose the best plan for me.

I was thinking of getting the 5GB or 7GB usage combine with my home phone or just alone.

I mainly use the internet for downloading trailers, vidoes, demo, firmware and software upgrade and online gaming.The days i can use the internet are only friday, saturday and sunday.

1. How much data usgage would i need?

a. playing games like:Halo 3, Gears of War and Gears of War 2, GTA IV, Rainbow 6 Las Vegas 2

If you like downloading videos and software, than you should get a larger online usage plan. Online games can also count against your plan, so I recommend getting a bandwidth monitor, like bwmonitor.comso you know how much they're using
That program tells you when you've used up all your bandwidth for the month. To save on usage, try downloading lower quality or smaller videos. The program is free for a month, then you'll have to buy it or just reinstall the trial.
