Question I'm looking for a broadband plan, but don't know how much usuage i need. I live in Australia. Please help choose the best plan for me.
I was thinking of getting the 5GB or 7GB usage combine with my home phone or maybe just alone.
I mainly use the internet for downloading trailers, vidoes, demo, firmware and software upgrade and online gaming.The days i can use the internet are only friday, saturday and sunday.
1. How much data usgage would i need?
a. playing games like:Halo 3, Gears of War and Gears of War 2, GTA IV, Rainbow 6 Las Vegas 2

I wont actually answer this question, because there is a tool offered by bigpond that gives a real good estimate as to what your usage would be. It can be found here:
It usually is on the money with an estimate, but based on how plans charge for usage its best to aim higher.
The only two things to remember is that while hosting games, your going to be spending more of your usage, and that some plans also include upload limit (including bigpond) in their usage counts, so check for that.
