Answer
Hello

Firstly, I'd just like to say sorry for the late reply.

As you probably know, the Xbox 360 has a tendency to overheat from time to time. You can leave it on overnight, but I would set it to automatic shut off, by following these procedures:

1. Go to the Dashboard
2. Go to the System blade. The one to the far right.
3. Select Console Settings
4. Select Shutdown
5. Highlight Auto-off. You will notice on the left hand side it will say 'Auto-Off Disabled' You want to enable it. Press Auto-Off.

Your console will now switch off after 6 hours of inactivity. However, I wouldn't recommend leaving it on every night. You wouldn't want to wake up to find a overheated console.

I hope this helps you.

Sam
