Question
Wow! What a long intro on your profile! Anyways, i'm back again to ask some questions about Fire Emblem. Wow, this game is strategy-based game... And i'm Average about strategy games... Can you help me? Can you give me tactics to have a tactician rating of S? Because I have only one star when i enter Chapter 16 in Eliwood's story... So now i'm starting again from the Prologue... But i don't why... There are 5 Categories in the tactician rank... I have 3 stars in the first category, 5 in the other category and only 1 on the EXP rating... I am confused... I have 5 stars in the 3 categories  but my star on tactician rating is only one... Help! Give me some FAQs that can give me a S rank... Please give me the one that i can understand the procedures... And what about the Support system? What can it do? Thankzzz in advance... Adios Amigo!

Answer
Sorry it took so long. I have not had a lot of free time and was having trouble finding info on the ranking system for this game as well. To start with, this is where I got most of the info I gathered:

http://www.gamefaqs.com/portable/gbadvance/data/468480.html

Now, I have not personally played this game or any of the Fire Emblems, so I cannot speak from experience for what you asked me. That being the case, my knowledge is limited to what I have read about the game. And as to how the faqs are listed, they start with a description of the relevant content and search codes and then a link to the FAQ itself.

Since I was able to find more clear cut info on the support system, I will start with it.

In section [1090] of this FAQ there is a short explanation of the bonuses that can be had with the support system. Also in section [1500] of this FAQ there is a list of all characters and how many rounds it takes to gain their support bonuses with each of their support characters.

In section IX of this FAQ there is a list of characters and support combinations:
http://www.gamefaqs.com/portable/gbadvance/file/468480/23458

There is a short explanation of support bonuses given in section 8.4) of this FAQ. This can also be used in conjunction with the character evaluation in section 5) to determine who can support who:
http://www.gamefaqs.com/portable/gbadvance/file/468480/30497

This specialized FAQ has a complete breakdown of the number of turns necessary to gain support bonuses for all possible character combinations:
http://www.gamefaqs.com/portable/gbadvance/file/468480/26844

This FAQ provides a rundown of all the support conversations(!) in the game as well as a chart with the rates at which each characters combination gets points toward their support levels. (This is not as useful as knowing the exact number of rounds as in the previous faq, since you still have to crunch numbers to get a total.) This is a very detailed faq if you want to know what is said, but otherwise not much info on the actual system itself:
http://www.gamefaqs.com/portable/gbadvance/file/468480/26803

Now that we have the support system covered, I will list what I have found for the ranking system. In section [1800] of this FAQ you can find info about the general nature of the ranking system:
http://www.gamefaqs.com/portable/gbadvance/file/468480/40524

...And that's it. I have googled fire emblem gba player ranking system and many other combinations of those words, but I cannot find any detailed info concerning this system in the game. I even tried searching on youtube for a possible explanation that those hardcore people sometimes do, but to no avail.

My recommendation would be to sign up on gamefaqs.com and go to the board for this game and search 'rank' or 'tactician' or some other similar terms and look through the posts. I'm sorry, but I just don't have the time to do that for you. Then if you can still not find anything, make a topic on the board yourself and see if anyone can help you. This way you can get responses from a wider variety of players who actually have experience with this game and might be able to assist you better. You might also send a letter to the Nintendo gameplay counselors and ask about it there. You know, like they did it back in the day. I will post an update to this answer if I happen to find something about this in the future, but I wouldn't count on it.

I hope you have been helped by my assistance and again I apologize for taking so long. Life just gets in the way of gaming sometimes. Good Luck.

TOPICS I can answer questions about: Game Strategy, Recommendations (based on age or genre preference), History of a game, Recalling a game you played, Game music, Company or Creator info, and some simple system troubleshooting GENRES: My specialties are Adventure, RPG, Survival Horror, Action, and a small amount of Strategy and Puzzle. I avoid sports games like the plague, and have little interest in any racing games save for a few, F-Zero, Mario Kart and Wipeout being the main ones. Nor do I know many fighting games, mainly Bushido Blade and a few others. I am not much of a fan of First Person Shooters either. I am especially well versed in RPGs, particularly Final Fantasy and most of SquareEnix's other titles. GAMES: Not limited to the following. These games are series, and I know them all. There are MANY other individual ones. Feel free to ask and I will let you know if I can help you. Actraiser, Alundra, Breath of Fire, Bushido Blade, Castlevania, Chrono Trigger/Cross, Donkey Kong, Dragon Warrior/Quest, Drakkhen/Dragon View, Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, King's Field, Legacy of Kain/Soul Reaver, Mana, Mario, Mega Man, Metal Gear Solid, Ninja Gaiden, Metroid, Parasite Eve, Resident Evil, Rygar, Silent Hill, Spyro, Star Fox, Suikoden, Tomb Raider, TMNT, Wild Arms, Xenogears/Xenosaga, Zelda, and Zone of the Enders SYSTEMS: NES, Super NES, N64, Gamecube, Wii, Gameboy Color, GBA, DS, PS1, PS2, PS3 and PSP plus computer, but I'm not really a big computer gamer. Systems I plan on getting in the future are XBOX 360 and Wii U. I am also a big fan of emulators on the PC. I have many of the old 8-bit and 16-bit systems and ROMS for my computer and know a lot about them. These include NES, Super NES, Genesis, Turbografx, MSX, Gameboy, Gameboy Color, and GBA.

Experience

I have been a video gamer for over 20 years. I started with the original NES way back in 1988 and have owned or played nearly every popular console since then. I have completed hundreds of games and played thousands. I have a large file cabinet filled with hundreds of hand-made maps, lists, and various strategies for many of the games I have conquered in the past two decades. I subscribe to 5 different game magazines to keep up to date on the newest stuff out there. I would officially call myself an expert on the subject of videogames. And if I don't know the answer, I can find out about it and direct you to someplace that does.

Publications
I have had three things published in Nintendo Power magazine as well as a piece of artwork. I also participate regularly on the GameFAQs forums. I am wanting to write FAQs for GameFAQs as well. I would also like to write columns for other video game magazines.

Education/Credentials
Experience with games baby, and lots of it. On the academic side, I am currently attending ITT Tech and am two quarters into an Associate's in Visual Communications. I will then be continuing for a Bachelor's in Video Game Design.

Awards and Honors
These are not academic awards. I am still working on those. These are video game related things of note about me. I do consider them honors as they are the most secret things in each of their respective games, and I am very proud of having found them. I am the discoverer of the Ryu Fireball in Megaman X, the Dragon Punch in Megaman X2, and the Golden Armor in Megaman X3. All three of those discoveries have appeared in Nintendo Power magazine. I have also broken the password systems for Megaman 4 and Megaman 5.
