AboutBrian Jay Expertise I'm moving into answering questions relating to the Xbox 360 and related games. I can still answer questions on previous topics (Gamecube/GBA stuff) but please note I will not be able to help at a full capacity.
As always, if I dont know the answer I'll do my best to search for it or point you to the best possible alternative for getting an answer (Updated 31/08/06 and about time too).
Experience I've been a gamer for pretty much the last 14/15 years, so I feel I know my fair share about the subject. I spent the early years with Nintendo, the mid years with both Sony and Nintendo and I'm now just enjoying my Xbox 360, so I have experience with all three groups. I'm not much of a technical buff, but just like before if I cant answer a technical question personally I'll do my best to search for it or point you out to the next best source (Updated 31/08/06)

Answer Hey Mo
Ok, so lets assume that after you've got your head in the game, they ~dont~ increase their lead of 5 kills and that's how the game ends. So the problem lies in how you start, and gaining multiple kills to get back that lead.
A few tips that I think may help:
The Start
- Know the locations of the power weapons/items on the map, the quickest route to get them, and most importantly how ~others~ would get to them. Unless your in an odd numbered game you'll find that if others go for their closest power item/weapon, you'll be competing for it with at least one person.
- If you spawn in a location where your closest power item/weapon isnt one your good with, or something that doesnt suit the game type, then use the fact that someone else may want it. This is where grenades become in handy. Chucking them as they would pass gives you a shot for an easy kill.
Getting back the Lead
- Get used to the BR/Carbine if you havent already. You'll get your games where its AR>Meele>Kill>Ar>Kill>Meele>Kill and it ends up being a dogpile of bodies. You stay back at a distance, and you can pick off at least two or three.
- Same can be said for the snipers also, but dont get too comfy. Your gonna have to snipe from an open spot if your gonna rack up the kills, so that means dont stop moving.
- Camping, only for the smaller maps. where your chances of people coming to you are higher. Again, never camp for any extended period (i.e. half the game) keep moving form spot to spot.
- Know the respawn times of the power weapons/items and look to be there on the first respawn. Everyone remembers to get them first up, but not many follow through for the first respawn.
Well, I hope some of these help you in getting some wins for Halo 3.
