About Andrew Crome
Expertise
I have played games since the early nineties. I can answer questions on the SNES, the Sega Saturn, N64, Dreamcast, Gamecube, Xbox, 360, and DS. I can tell you what games are worth getting, and which aren`t, as well as the history of these systems. While I`m no expert on other systems I`m more than happy to find out things you would like to know about them.

Subject: spyro the new beginning

Question
My wife purchased the new beginning from a used games store. I opened it and low and behold no instructions.  I have attempted to play but have no idea. Is there someplace that I can get full directions so I can play the game? and how is the game rated in popularity and easy of playing?

Answer
Hi Kevin,

You didn't mention which system you're playing the game on, but the following link will provide several FAQs on the game on various systems. All of these contain breakdowns of the controls - just select the version next to the system which you're using and click on it! - http://www.gamefaqs.com/search/index.html?game=spyro%3A+A+new+beginning&platform...

The game received generally middling reviews, and was a moderate success. Metacritic, which contains an average of the game's review scores, lists them as 69% on the Xbox, 67% on the Gamecube, 64% on the PS2, and 68% on the DS. So critics perceived the game as fairly average.  The Spyro games were well received on the PSOne, but the PS2\Xbox\Gamecube versions are usually seen are inferior.

Hope this helps

Andy
