GENRES:
My specialties are Adventure, RPG, Survival Horror, Action, and a small amount of Strategy and Puzzle. I avoid sports games like the plague, and have little interest in any racing games save for a few, F-Zero, Mario Kart and Wipeout being the main ones. Nor do I know many fighting games, mainly Bushido Blade and a few others. I am not much of a fan of First Person Shooters either. I am especially well versed in RPGs, particularly Final Fantasy and most of SquareEnix's other titles.

SYSTEMS:
I have recently added the Wii and PSP to my collection. NES, Super NES, N64, Gamecube, Wii, Gameboy Color, GBA, DS, PS1, PS2 and PSP plus computer, but I'm not really a big computer gamer.
Systems I plan on getting in the future are XBOX 360 and eventually PS3 (When the price goes down...a lot) I am also a big fan of emulators on the PC. I have many of the old 8-bit and 16-bit systems and ROMS for my computer and know a lot about them. These include NES, Super NES, Genesis, Turbografx, MSX, Gameboy, Gameboy Color, and GBA.
Experience
I have been a video gamer for nearly 20 years. I started with the original NES way back in 1988 and have owned or played nearly every popular console since then. I have completed hundreds of games and played thousands. I have a large file cabinet filled with hundreds of hand-made maps, lists, and various stategies for many of the games I have conquered in the past two decades. I subscribe to 5 different game magazines to keep up to date on the newest stuff out there. I would officially call myself an expert on the subject of videogames. And if I don't know the answer, I can find out about it and direct you to someplace that does.
Publications
Nintendo Power magazine, and I am thinking of writing for Gamegrene and GameFAQs in the future.
Education/Credentials

Question
QUESTION: So I went into the library and stupidly put two books back before I found all of them. Now I'm stuck in the entrance of the library. How do I fix this? And how do I get all the items to open the locked door in the entrance hall?
ANSWER: Actually, there is no way to mess this part up. The area is designed to be unlocked in a sequential fashion, so you don't have to worry about not being able to complete it. It has been ages since I have played this game, but I can give you a brief excerpt from the official guide for this area. Just find where it is you are stuck at and do everything after that point and you should be fine.
1.Examine the book on the ground near the entrance to find Khama Vol. 8.
2. Use the target lock feature to find a space among the red books in the nearest bookcase. Put the book back on the bookshelf to reveal a secret passageway.
3. Examine the nearby pillar. Sora will spin a shelf inside the pillar and, if you're lucky, it will stop so that you can open the chest. You may need to try this several times. The chest contains an Elixir.
4.Go up the stairs and do the same thing with the next pillar to gain a Mythril. The second pillar in the upper section contains a Mega-Potion.
5. Also on the upper level, us the green Trinity Mark to knock Azal Vol. 3 off the top of the bookcase.
6. The book on the desk is Theon Vol. 6 Use the save point next to the desk at your leisure.
7. Move to the bookcase past the second pillar, and remove the green book titled Mava Vol. 6. Examine the same spot again to place the Theon Vol. 6 there.
8. The bookcase slides away to reveal a switch. Push the switch to unlock the nearby doors. Don't enter them just yet, though.
9. Hop over the balcony rail onto the top of the bookcases, and glide across to a chest above the entrance. Open the chest to reveal a Dispel-G.
10. Stay on the same bookcase and move across the top to another pillar. Rotate the shelf inside until you get an AP Up.
11. Note the square gap between the bookcases. Fall into this area and look for the blue book Salegg Vol. 6, inserted among the row of green books. Place it into the space of the blue book row to reveal an exit.
12. Return to the entrance and examine the row of yellow books across from the door. Place the Azal Vol. 3 here. This closes off one passage of the library and opens another.
13. Run around the first floor and check the other side of the bookcase you just moved to find Nahara Vol. 5.
14. Go back upstairs and place the Nahara Vol. 5 in the row of books across from the desk. From the new bookcase that is revealed, take Mava Vol. 3.
15. Jump down into the area below and place Mava Vol. 3 and 6 in their places in the green row of books. This causes the bookcase to swing open, revealing a secret room. The book on the table is Hafet Vol. 4.
16. Take the purple volume upstairs and insert it into the purple row of books near the desk. This reveals a secret passageway to the Lift Stop.
That is a guide to getting through the library. To get all the items to unlock the door in the entrance hall just keep progressing through the Hollow Bastion area and finding them. They will be available soon.

QUESTION: Ok, this is what happened: I got two books red and yellow I think. I didn't go anywhere after that. Not upstairs or wherever. I never got any other books. Then I put the two books back, and the shelves closed me in. To open another passage, I have to find the blue and green books I think. But since the passage is closed off, I can't get to them, and I can't find a way to take out the red and yellow books again. I did not do that in order like you suggested. How do I get through solid book shelves??? There is no way.

Sorry I have not responded to your follow-up. It did not tell me I had another question for it. I am a bit confused about if you still need help with this particular problem or not? In my comments, you wrote that you did it right after I emailed you back and you thanked me. So it sounds like you have figured it out and got through the area. If this is the case I am glad I could help.
But there is also a question relating to more things you tried with the bookshelves that is dated prior to your comment. So what I need to know is if you still require assistance with this particular part of the game? I will help you if I can.
