Question
Hi there,  I have bought a nintendogs game for my son and have made the mistake of buying a "cheap and nasty" one from Hong Kong.  Although the game has been working perfectly fine, where you see how much money you have accumulated it is displayed with the Enlish £ in from of it (eg:  his screen displays £1,000 and I would like it to read $1,000, as I am from Australia and that is the money symbol we use).  Is there any way of changing this on the game.  He has other games and they all have the $ symbol - it is just this one that doesn't.  Do you think you can help??  Thank you so much for your time.  Belinda

Answer
Gday Belinda,

Unfortunately you will just have to put up with the £ symbol, I don't believe there is any option in the game to change the country or currency.  Since you bought it in Hong Kong it could have been a pirated game that was destine for the UK since it is a pound symbol and I am assuming it also has everything else in English.  (As the £ symbol is used in a number of places in the world which are either English or usually Arabic speaking nations.)

You could look on the bright site each virtual £ is worth 2 AUD.  (I know that does not effect the gameplay what so ever)

Sorry there is no fix to this.
