Question I have had for several year a 2 player Cocktail Table Video Game (coin op) that is currently set up for Off The Wall. The model number on the game says DJR1-18T-US. My brief research is showing this is a Donkey Kong product. The game company I bought from years ago must have reconfigured it for Off the Wall as all of the graphics on the unit are for OTW. They also game me 2 other interchangable games; Romstar "Twin Cobra"? by Taito and JAMMA ? by Data East. How do I go about finding if there is a market value for this relic, and is there a place to find manuals for these games? Thanks!
Answer Gday Debbie,
Usually Market value you would have to look on somewhere like Ebay.
I can safely say any Table top game will demand alittle more than a standup arcade machine. Typically you could expect to get at least $700 for a machine in good working condition. Other PCB boards for machines can be bought and sold for anywhere from $10-$50 for more commonly produced ones (the ones you have listed) although harder to find do fetch several $100 dollars.
Manuals there are a number of places to look like ....
I can Answer Video Game Compatability Problems (PAL, NTSC, JAP) for Atari 2600, 5200, NES, Super Nintendo/SFC, N64, Gamecube, Wii, Gameboy, GBA, DS, Sega Master System, Sega Mega Drive/Genisis, Game Gear, Mega CD, Nomad, Saturn, Dreamcast, Lynx, Jagura, Philips CDI, 3DO, Playstation, PS2, PSP and Xbox. Plus Ways around them to play wrong regions games on most consoles.
I also have an extensive knowledge of service and repair with most home consoles as well as arcade/pinball machines.
I have a reasonable general knowledge of most new to older games (I personally own about 1000 games and almost every console known to man.)
