Console Games (Nintendo, Sony etc.) and Arcade Games/PS2 Boot Problem

Question
When I boot up my PS2 there are rows of stuck pixels showing up on my TV screen, and the problem remains when I play games or DVDs. What might the problem be? How might one fix it?

Answer
Gday Oobleck,

I would say you probably have problems with your PS2 inbuilt tuner or more than likely a graphics chip.  I's try another cable just in case this is causing it.  If it is still a problem there may be nothing easy to fix.

Depending on you TV you might be able to try a S-video cable or a component cable as this type of signal might not show the line.

But other than that you might be up for a new PS2.
