Question
Whenever I load my Playstation 2 up, there is no sound. I checked the RCA cable, and it seems okay. What may be wrong? What can I do?

Answer
Gday Thor,

If you have checked your Cables (Even replaced them with ones you know is working) and where you have plugged them into the TV (With another gaming system or DVD to know sound is working).

Boot up you PS2 without a Disk.  It will come up to the main menu go into System Configuration Menu.  Check the sound settings there.  Make sure Digital Out is Off if you are using RCA cables.

If the sound is still not working the sound chip is probably bad and you might have to replace you PS2 with a new one.
