Question Are there any educational games for the ds or wii? My kids are 10 and 7. I am mainly concerned about my 7 year old. She is behind in reading and I have to read here ds games for her to play. I would really prefer games to help with reading and math.
thanks,
Tree
Answer Gday Teresa,
For your DS there are a number of titles out there that can help with math and reading. The DS is actually a wonderful learning tool if used properly. I would suggest and of the Brain Age titles. (as they are reasonable fun) You can also look into titles like Math Play, any of the my Series ie My Word Coach, My Math Coach, Flash Focus. Maybe even a few games like Animal Crossing or Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney as there is quite a lot of reading involved in playing the games and theres are fun titles.
There are less Educational Titles for the Wii. but I would look into trying Smarty Pants, My Word Coach, Big Brain Academy or even Trauma Center (Mainly for the reading but id a reasonable good game)
I can Answer Video Game Compatability Problems (PAL, NTSC, JAP) for Atari 2600, 5200, NES, Super Nintendo/SFC, N64, Gamecube, Wii, Gameboy, GBA, DS, Sega Master System, Sega Mega Drive/Genisis, Game Gear, Mega CD, Nomad, Saturn, Dreamcast, Lynx, Jagura, Philips CDI, 3DO, Playstation, PS2, PSP and Xbox. Plus Ways around them to play wrong regions games on most consoles.
I also have an extensive knowledge of service and repair with most home consoles as well as arcade/pinball machines.
I have a reasonable general knowledge of most new to older games (I personally own about 1000 games and almost every console known to man.)
