Hi, I was wondering if the classic arcade game "Asteroids" by Atari was ever made for GameCube format as a feature game or as part of a vintage arcade compilation or collection? I can't find anything on eBay for strictly GameCube. Any info on name to look for, or where to purchase would be greatly appreciated! Thanx, ~Freeze

Unfortunately Asteroids was not released in Gamecube format.

About the only ways you will be able to play it on the Gamecube is via the Gameboy Player with one of the Gameboy, Gameboy Color or Gameboy Advanced cartridges that features Asteroids.

Although in The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron Boy Genius: Attack of the Twonkies there is an arcade level that has many knock off classic games including Influenza ~ Asteroids, Lab Rescue ~ Breakout, Ultra-Lord Rampage ~ Berzerk, Yokian Defender ~ Galaxian, Downtown Danger ~ Frogger.  (I have to thank my 8 yo daughter for that knowledge because she was having problems with Ultra-Lord Rampage Dad went oh it Berzerk.  Then spent the next 2 hours playing all the other knock off games much to her dismay totally pwning the n00b and beating all her high scores.)
