Console Games (Nintendo, Sony etc.) and Arcade Games/Rock band 2 compatability

Question
We have Rock band 1 for PS2.  It uses a USb connection for the wireless instruments.  Is there any way to use this PS2 USB connector to transfer to the Wii.  We would like to step up to RB2 for the Wii, but do not want to re-invest in the instruments.  At the same time, we don't want to keep buying RB games for the outdated system without online or DLC.  Thank you, Brian

Answer
Gday Brian,

(Apologies for my late reply on this item been dealing with property loss with the bush fires in Australia)

Unfortunately most Rockband Instruments are system tied.  (There are the odd 3rd party product that does but if it is designed for one system that is what you are stuck with)  IE if you have PS2 instruments they will work on an PS2 and PS3 if you are lucky.  So unfortunately you will have to reinvest a heap if you swap systems.

Sorry can't help you out with some big cheat.
