Question
Will NTSC-US format work on a norwegian wii?
I know PAL work but the game won't be PAL and i still want it :/

Answer
Gday Peter,

A NTSC game will not work on a Norwegian PAL system.

But you can get around this by 2 methods.

One is to install one of the many modchips available in your Wii this should allow you to play a NTSC game on your Wii.  But it will totally void any warranty that you have with Nintendo.

The second method does not void your Wii but you may never be able to update your console with the latest firmware.  (If your console has a firmware of 3.1 or less this method will work)  You need a product called a Freeloader which is a disk that allows you to play NTSC or Japanese games on you PAL Wii.  But again if you are totally up to date with you firmware it will not work.  (If you have never connected your Wii to the Internet this product is prefect.  If you have connected to the Internet maybe a mod chip will be the go.

Hope this helps.
